VCS problem

Hi Friends,

Can you all help for veritas cluster . Request you all to provide me steps to stop & start package and stop & start veritas cluster . I am aware about LVM cluster but not about veritas .

~In a nutshell~Refer above docs for the details of options.

Cluster Starting:

hastart system_name

Stopping:

hastop -local|-all|-force|-evacuate
hastop -sys system_name

Package Start/Stop (online/offline):
===================================
hagrp -online|-offline group_name -sys system_name

Clear Resource Faults
=====================
hares -clear res_name -sys system_name

Start- and stop-scripts are not enough to get a VCS cluster running!
You also need to provide monitor and (if suitable) clean scripts to get a running application.
In addition you need to build a dependency tree for your ressources.

Check the recommended Veritas documentation AND attend a VCS course. It doesn't matter if Veritas says, that the classes are only for Solaris... VCS is nearly 100% identical on HP-UX.
