access disks no possible
Good morning
We have a VA7410 and servers HP (RP 7440 ?) connected to this array.
We use VM on this servers.
If i use ioscan I see all the disks
If i use vxdisk list
5 disks are failed. These disks are LUN on VA7410 for instance ......39.0.1.7 c4t1d7 is lun 43
Disks are include in differents disks group.
For instance the first disk failed is include in disk group 1 the second disk failed is include in disk group 2 ......On the disk group there is oracle database
Can i use commands with VM to reconnect the server to the disks ? like vxcdtl enable ?
Or with graphic vea ?

Re: access disks no possible
Use the command: vxdctl enable
This command causes vxconfigd to rescan the
system for disks (or luns) and creates any
neccessary device file links for those new
disks (or luns) in the /dev/vx/dmp and
/dev/vx/rdmp directories.
So I think it worths to give it a try..

Time has a wonderful way of weeding out the trivial
