extend vg with mirror in ServiceGuard surrounding

Hi,

I'm willing to extend my VG "vg03" containing 4 lvols, with a mirror.
The disk in use is c6t0d0/c7t0d0 and the new disk is c6t1d0/c6t1d0.

I think the steps to perform are:
create pv
extend vg with pv
extend lv with mirror

but what to do with the other node???? I suppose it has to know about the mirror?

Thanks in advance

No alternatives with serviceguard. You have to vgexport and vgimport -s.

vgexport -s -p -v -m mapfile /dev/vg##

(* -p perview 8)

ftp

mkdir
mknod
vgimport

Hi,
here is the steps to follow
on active node (Primery)
1. pvcreate
2. vgextend
3. lvextend
4. vgexport -pvs -m vgname

on adaptive node
1. vgexport < vg name) # to remove exisiting vg info>
2. mkdir
3. mknod
4. ftp map file from primery node
5. vgimport -v -s -m

that's it....
