interupting vxdisksetup idisk hangs and can't be killed
Hanging idisk proces.
At the moment a "vxdiskunsetup" or "vxdisksetup" is interrupted, some processes remain active (like the vxdisksetup).
These processes can be killed, however, the proces "idisk" cannot be killed.
A "ps" command shows "root 10936 1 0 Aug 24 ? 0:00 idisk -pq /dev/rdsk/c11t6d4"
Pid 10936 cannot be killed however. As long as this process is active, no other disks can be setup. A reboot is the only solution at this moment.
OS: HP-UX ahost B.11.23 U ia64
Is there an other way then reboot???
Thanks in advanced
