ioscan doesn't list the SAN storage disks
Hi,
I have strange issue with the newly attached SAN storage disks. ioscan couldn't list the SAN disks. There is no errors/Clue on dmesg or syslog. Ran ioscan/insf -e and even rebooted the server. Disabled and enabled legacy mode.

Wondering why the paths are showing lunpathxx on powerpath o/p which is suppose to be cxtxdx.
Thanks & Regards,
Karthik Balu.

Re: ioscan doesn't list the SAN storage disks
This could be a reason:
# insf -L
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

I tried disabling and enabling the logacy mode but it didn't solve my problem.

Re: ioscan doesn't list the SAN storage disks
Make sure the array has set the "Volume Set Addressing" flag.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: ioscan doesn't list the SAN storage disks
This is not Symmentrix Array. I have VNC 5600 and i dont think i can choose this option in this array.
