lvsplit pv2 rather than pv1?
Hi,
I have a need to use lvsplit and lvmerge. I have tested the process ok and find that lvsplit will always move the pv2 mirror offline. Is there a way to force it to move the pv1 mirror offline? the manual refers to using -g and pvg name, but I don't have any pvg's defined.
thanks, Greg

Re: lvsplit pv2 rather than pv1?
Hi Greg:
There is nothing to prevent you from manually building a valid '/etc/lvmpvg' file that describes your configuration. See the manpages for 'lvmpvg(4)'.
Regards!
