max byte count without largefiles

I've searched on this to no avail. Not trusting my own math, can someone give me the actual number of bytes a file can contain in a non-largefiles filesystem?

TIA. Sorry for the dumb question. It's really late.

Re: max byte count without largefiles

Hi,

The maximum should be '2097152' bytes.

A good example of these numbers is shown in the 'fsadm_vxfs' man page.

Re: max byte count without largefiles

Hello, I think Michael's answer is 2Mb! :-)

2147483648b is 2Gb.

Dunno whether it's 2mb or 2Gb though :-)

Thanks Vince! And Michael. :)

I came up with each of your answers -- first Michael's, and then Vince's. I needed a sanity check.
