turn of polling on disk level

I am not able to turn off polling anf i have the current lvm cumulative and commands patch

Any idea what is is error

pvchange -p n /dev/dsk/cxtydz
pvchange: Physical volume "/dev/dsk/cxtydz" could not be changed:
This may indicate that the kernel installed on this system lacks the
neccessary functionality to perform this operation.

Look at the patch level. It's work for me.

I tested in my test server , it is working fine too , not working prod server.

Hello,

Do you have patch PHCO_35524 on the production
server? pvchange command was modified to
add a new option (-p) to enable or disable
LVM's proactive polling behavior of alternate
paths.

Also, pvdisplay command was changed to report
the proactive polling status along with other
information about the physical volume.

Problem is resolved after installing the couple patch , i will post the patch numbers later
