umount error - cannot umount : block device required

The problem was that there was a symbolic link that pointed to /home/v01 and the symbolic link was removed while in use. By running a find / -type M I saw that /home/v01 was mounted. This was a mistake. So I recreated the symbolic link then umounted /v01. Then I removed the link and mounted the logical volume to /v01. Thanks
