please your help for this... i'did try to extend a volume group with 30 disks but show this error after of 8 o 10 disks
vgextend: Couldn't install the physical volume "/dev/dsk/c20t4d7".

Solution
By default when a volume group is created it is done with 16 LUN's. This cannot be changed after the volume group has been created.
Suggest you create a new volume group. I always use 'vgcreate -p 128' which is a good balanced number between physical number and maximum physical size.
Check out the 'vgdisplay -v' and look in the 'Max PE' field. On yours this will say 16.
