All,
I'm wondering if someone can help me.
I'm trying to find a doc where is stated which is ARIES compatibility versur HP-UX/PA-RISC versions.
What I'd like to understand is if ARIES is able to emulate exe built in HP-UX/PA-RISC 10.x or only from 11.00 or from only 11.11.. Do you think a doc is available somewhere?
Thanks for your help
Roy

Solution
Hi Roy:
See the HP-UX 11i version 2 Release Notes for starters; specifically pages 29-30. In general, binaries compiled on 9x and later are supported.
http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-2710/5991-2710.pdf
The manpages also provide a good overview of Aries features:
http://docs.hp.com/en/B2355-60105/Aries.5.html
The Developer's Resource site also has information:
http://devresource.hp.com/drc/STK/docs/refs/Aries.jsp
Regards!

Re: ARIES on Itanium
Hi Roy,
Aries comes by defaukt with 11.23. I think, you can binaries from 11.x not sure about 10.0. This DSPP page talks about HP ARIES support information,
