Has anyone a working rrdtool for HP-UX 11.11 ?

Hi,

I need to collect and chart Informix DB stats
which I would like to be done by Munin with a little plug-in I would supply myself.
I got Munin perectly working on Solaris and Linux
boxes where it is my preferred collector and charter of perf stats on those systems.
Officially Munin is not distributed or advocated for use on HP-UX yet.
However, since it is merely Perl based programming I would see not many objections.
Munin uses the fine rrdtool as its backend,
and I beleive my difficulties are only rrdtool related.
I subscribed to the users mailing list of rrdtool but it doesn't seem to be alive anymore.
Therefore I also try here.
Who knows, someone else may have Munin running on their HP-UX boxes?
Although rrdtool compiled smoothly as did its prerequisite libraries with the HP ANSI C
I cannot get rrdtool's RRDs.pm Perl API to work.
The make install only provided a RRDp.pm
which is a piped Perl API as opposed to the shared.
Unfortunately the piped API's interface is much more limited than the shared API's why Munin utilities won't compile and run.
I wouldn't want to rewrite the Munin utilities
so that they would function with the piped API.
Has anyone a working RRDs.pm on HP-UX 11.11?

yes I looked at Oetikers site of the ETHZ webserver.
But I missed to look into the contrib section that Harry thankfully referred me to I shamefully must admid.
The contrib rrdtool depot seems to satisfy Munin's needs.
Meanwhile I also subscribed to the rrdtool users' mailinglist as well as that of munin.
So should I still encounter odds I hope to find further assistance from there.

Hi Ralph,

As you must have seen it's a old release and you'll have some problems with some interesting functions.
