Is perl will upgrade

Hi,

How can we upgrade the perl 5.8.8.8 to latest one

My server model is =HP-UX uatdata1 B.11.31 U ia64 0983294516 unlimited-user license.

Issue=

When i installing issue trcker software its wants some c and perl modules.

How can we solved it.

There are several "latest" one's. It very much depends on your needs which latest one you want. E.g. the perl distributions that are available on my site (1) are all unthreaded but pretty recent (5.14.1). The version available on HP's site (2) is threaded but rather dated (5.8.8 when I just checked). The version on the HP porting center 3) is in between (5.10.1).
