Java not support "static_mt" in Itanium server

Does anyone knows the below information about Java does not support "static_mt" in Itanium server? The below info is come from ILOG. Is it correct or JAVA limitation in HPUX Itanium server ? Thanks.

:indicates the format of the library
"mt" for multi threaded.
