Hi guys,
I'm preparing for an installation next week and we have a prerequisite to install "HP Java JDK 1.4.2 (latest) 32 bit version required"
As far as I can tell the SDK installation includes both 32 bit and 64 bit versions, but how do I ensure that I'm running in 32 bit mode?
FYI -
Server - BL60p (Itanium blade)
O/S - HP-UX 11i v2

Solution
Shalom,
A 32 bit application using Java will use the 32 bit libraries. A 64 bit capable application will use the 64 bit libraries. The JAva install will include and support both native 64 bit mode and 32 bit compatability mode.
Its kind of the way the software works.

That's the answer I was hoping for.
Thanks very much.
