Hi when i installed expect package on HP-UX box and tcl.after that fire command
/usr/local/bin/expect:

Then displayed message
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: Tcl_Release (plabel) from /usr/local/lib/libexpect.sl
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: Tcl_ErrnoMsg (plabel) from /usr/local/lib/libexpect.sl

how i can resolve this issue.

Hi:

I suspect that you didn't install the 'tcltk' [TCL Tool Kit] package to be installed first.

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Tcl/expect-5.43/

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Tcl/tcltk-8.5.2/

Note, too, that this has its own run-time dependencies.

Be sure to read all of the installation documetation.
