need script to take fullbackup incremental backup weekly backup
Hi All
i am new to hp-unix i need help of all grus.i need a script to take incremental backup full backup and weekly backup of hp-unix server 11.31 version please help me and provide me the script and also how to set crontab entry for that script please help me thanks.

Hi,
it depends on which data you want to backup. do you just want to backup of your hp-ux server( operating system backup) or are there application data files or oracle to be backed up ?

i need script to take all filesystem backup
and i also need script to take the backup of oracle applications also but i need to different script to perform the task please help me thanks

What type of backup software are you going to use? What type of media are you using?
Are you going to use ignite and pax? Or something enterprise strength like Data Protector?
