The failure given is

Preparing to unpack .../amsd_2.4.1-1571.9-debian10_amd64.deb ...
Device "26" does not exist.
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/amsd_2.4.1-1571.9-debian10_amd64.deb (--unpack):
new amsd package pre-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1
cpqFca.service is a disabled or a static unit not running, not starting it.

full details on steps are below

I checked the cpqFca.service and it is indeed dead, below is the output from journalctl -xe

I understand cpqFca is sometype of Fibre channel controller which the server does not have.

Is there some config that is missing or steps I can take to update to the most recent version of amsd?

thanks,

Re: amsd update fails

Updating theSystem ROM to version 2.50_07-20-2021 (5 Aug 2021) appears to have resloved the issue and it installed without issue after the update.
