3CRWER300-73 stuck at 144 Mbps

Hello,

I am using an Intel 4965AGN Wi-Fi miniPCI card to connect to my 3Com 3CRWER300-73 router, but the maximum speed I can get is always 144 Mbps, indicating the connection is using a 20 MHz channel bandwidth instead of 40 MHz as configured both in the router and in the Wi-Fi card.

The router is updated to the latest published firmware version (1.11.01) and the Wi-Fi card is using the latest Intel driver.

Has anybody seen this ? Or has anybody got to connect to this router at more than 144 Mbps ?

Thanks,

Rubens

Re: 3CRWER300-73 stuck at 144 Mbps

Hello Techno,

Yes I agree something is wrong with Intel.

I have just bought a new computer which came with an Intel 5100 card and this one cannot even connect in the 802.11n protocol, remaining stuck in 802.11g at 54 Mbps !

Thanks for your answer,
