A new 3CRWER101U-75: Unusable
Hi!
Just this morning I bought a 3CRWER101U-75 router for my home. It's very small, a home router.... I just didn't expect it to be _so_ low end.
It just doesn't work. Pinging the router from a box that's directly connected to it shows the connection is intermittent. I couldn't connect to the wireless... only using wpa_supplicant on GNU/Linux... intermittently. Windows was a no go.
I installed the firmware update to 1.9 and now it's even worse. There's still the intermittency issue on the wired connection and the wireless doesn't even show up (though it's set to be broadcast).
In a few words: extremely disappointed at this router. What should I do?
