Association Success/Requests Ratio
Hi
I am seeing large of failures in Association Success/Requests Ratio to Last 24hr – note percentage. Also looked at section for Band steering. Does it suggest we need more AP or issues with 802.1x and failure of a four-way handshake? Any help welcome.

Re: Association Success/Requests Ratio
Association success generaly reflects either there is not much coverage (less AP) or there is too much of interference in the environment preventing client association with the radio (AP).
Association stats doesnt reflect the 802.1X authentication issues.
Looking at the screen snap, 5 APs and 140+ clients that suggest you may need additional APs.

Re: Association Success/Requests Ratio
Not sure, what to comment looking at the inssider graph..! Yeah, pretty colorful.. LOL
Jokes apart, this graph just tells me what is avaialble in the neighborhood but that doesnt really mean anything in terms of congestion in the RF medium or other wireless related problems.

Re: Association Success/Requests Ratio
I could guest - thats the only tool I have to do any analysis. I've raise this with HP for further comment and also I am seeing users with ip 0.0.0.0
See screenshots – we are still seeing 0.0.0.0 ips and still seeing 85% success rate. Let me know
