Configure MSM 720 with 2 SSID with Cisco 2960
Hello, I have a setup of HP MSM 720 and HP MSM 460 with Cisco 2960 switch and two SSID; Guest(VLAN 20) and Staff (VLAN 100). I have setup the controller and it has discovered the AP but i cannot get IP adrress from my laptop.Should i make the port connecting the AP to the switch a trunk for VLAN 20,100 and Native VLAN 1? or how should i configure the swict interface to the access point.
Thanks.

Hello.
Who is the DHCP server? The DHCP relay settings as is? You mapped the Vlans the AP interface (This is configured in the Controller)?

Re: Configure MSM 720 with 2 SSID with Cisco 2960
Depends on how your VSCs are configured? if non-access controlled (use access controller option is unchecked), then you need to ensure your VSC binding tagged with VLAN. Then on the respective port where AP is connected, switch side should have the vlan tagged (make sure to create vlan on the switches). VLAN need to be tagged all the way upto your core where you may have your DHCP server or DHCP relay configured.
