DHCP RELAY TO VSC VIA VLAN FROM UPSTREAM ROUTER
Hi...
I want to configure an MSM7x controller to accept DHCP from an upstream Cisco Router scoped by 802.1q, i.e all NAT is provided by the router not the MSM for any VSC and each VSC is on a different egress VLAN. The reason for this is when one of my sites get over 100 client sessions the Cisco cannot handle the double NAT and we loose connectivity.
The areas I think I need to define parameters in are;
VLAN >define with IP?
VSC Egress VLAN
DHCP Relay Agent >Do I use client ID?
I have never used an MSM (MSC) without NAT, do I define the LAN port and the Internet port in the same range, I think the obvious answer is yes.
Any tips anyone please?
Thanks jh
