Dual Radios - one internal and one external

Is it possible to use the 2 Radios in an MSM422 where one is utilising the built in (internal) antenna to service a workshop area for example and the second radio is using an externally connected antenna to service an area outside of the premises?

If so will this automatically be configured when the external antenna is connected to the AP or does the AP need to be configured from the Controller to state that Radio 2 is an external radio?

I think you can do that, and the 2nd option is the correct one, you have to define under the Radio that you are using external Antennas and adjust the power to the allowed, each Radio is seperated from the other so no issues in that but make sure to use the correct Antenna ports for the radio, check the quick start guide it shows that.
