HP 425 AP
Hi,
First of all, i am sorry if i am posting in the wrong thread. Please feel free to move it to the right place.
My boss has ordered couple of HP 425 access points from the UK and i was surprised because the APs are managed by a wireless controller. We don't have controller and he purchased the units to work as a standalone devices. I tried to find out if the device can work in standalone mode but it keeps asking for "Discovery" information. I think the AP needs to discover a network controller in order to function.
Is there any way to configure these APs in standalone mode? or shall i suggest units return?
Thx

Re: HP 425 AP
Hi
Sorry, but 425s do not support autonomous mode. I'd suggest either getting a MSM720, or swapping them to for example MSM460s.
