How to configure a VLAN as a management port
I configured my MSM with VLANs on the internet port. What I would like to do is configure VLAN 1 as a management interface as well.
I configured an IP for VLAN 1 10.0.0.252 with subnet 255.255.255.0 but I cant ping it or access the interface.
Is there something I am doing wrong here?
Thanks for all the help

Re: How to configure a VLAN as a management port
You must be in the same VLAN 1 and have ip address from the same subnet.

Re: How to configure a VLAN as a management port
For my LAN port I use 192.168.1.1
For my internet port I use it just for VLAN(s), my IP for my vlan is 10.10.1.4 /24
Other devices on that VLAn can't ping 10.10.1.4 which is kind of odd. If I set to assign via DHCP it assigns the IP.
Any thoughts on what I can do.
Thanks

Re: How to configure a VLAN as a management port
mean an ip address from 10.0.0.1 to 10.0.0.254 on your device,
the other way is to have a router or switch with routing capabilities ( layer 3 switch ) to enable routing between vlans
