Html login page bypassed
Hello,
I'm trying to set up a guest/corporate networks using an msm760 controller and 10 aps.
i haven't got it up and running yet because i ran into certain issues.
When i connect to the guest or the corporate network, the user gets access to the internet without the login page being shown, even though i check it on the VSC config page.
the guest is using a local html login profile
and corporate is using active directory.
both are getting bypassed.
any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: Html login page bypassed
Do you have the client data tunnel enabled on the guest VSC?

Re: Html login page bypassed
ok i found the problem but not the solution.
i set up the dhcp server on the controller in a way so tht the controller is the default gw and dns server. so it worked and the html login page appeared. but the next time i checked the settings, they had changed. for some reason the pc is using the external dhcp server used for the rest of the network and not the one i set up on the controller.
so bcz of that the user has access to the internet without going through the login page.
in conclusion: the external dhcp server is overriding the config of the local controller based dhcp server
any ideas?

What is the support case number for this issue? I'll check on the status...
