Lose connection when set IP on Internet Port
Setup:
- MSM765zl controller in an HP E5406zl switch
- Internet Port native on Guest Internet VLAN , currently with no IP address set
- No routing enabled from Guest Internet VLAN to any other VLAN
- LAN Port native on VLAN with AP's
- Routing enabled between workstation VLAN and AP VLAN and working fine
Problem:
As soon as I set an IP on the Internet port, the controller loses connection to the workstation vlan. It can still talk okay on its native vlan with the AP and with any devices that are put on that VLAN. Any other devices on that VLAN have no problem talking to the workstation VLAN, and devices on the workstation VLAN have no problem talking to other devices on the AP VLAN. But the controller itself can no longer get to the workstation vlan, and vice versa.
