MSM 760: AP provisioning
Hello,
We have new AP @ Remote Site and upon plugging into network - dhcp is given and assigned via win server
However it can not find the controller and but we can connect to it via web browser and when login - said provisioning
We have followed reset procedures with all lights flashing three times and also power cycle AP but no avail.
I know if AP is connected to AC/Controller – you can not access it via browser.
We have two APs @ that site – both provisioned @ HQ before we shipped it and more importantly it was working
[controller @ HQ– ip 172.31.2.17 ] ------------- [fw – vpn2vpn]---- { internet } ----- [fw - vpn2vpn]----------- [AP @ London – ip 172.31.71.1 ]
AP is pingable from AC and London network has visibility to 172.31.2.0.24 network where controller reside - sites are connected via VPN2VPN on Fortigate FW.
Any suggestions?
Michael

Re: MSM 760: AP provisioning
Oh dear - no help here!!!
HP support helped and provided me a WA - which is to logging into AP and telling it to manually discover the controller.
After reboot - its sync with the controller and did updates - AP is now operational.
