MSM710 with MSM410 no smartphones access
Hi all,
I have a MSM710 with 5 MSM410, all works great apart from smartphones (iphone, android or nokia) not being able to connect to the wireless network, they cannot even see the network (SSID) being advertised.
On laptops or mobile scanners (using windows mobile 5 and 6) all works fine, SSID seen and all able to connect to the network.
Using WPA2 and only one VSC.
Any suggestion?
Regards

Re: MSM710 with MSM410 no smartphones access - Solution
I just changed the radio wireless mode from 802.11 "n/a" to "b/g/n" - and all works fine on iphone 4 as well. It seemes like the iphone and android wireless chip got confused by the msm410 default setting.
(You change this under menu "configuration->radio" setting and unhook the inherit button - wait for a synch and it should work)

Hi,
I just realized that 3 days ago... and after a change to b/g/n it worked just fine, like you did.
