MSM765 SNMP Temperature Monitoring
Does anyone know if it is possible to monitor temperature on an MSM765. If so, does anyone know the OID for this?
Thanks!

Re: MSM765 SNMP Temperature Monitoring
Hi
MSM765 doesn't have any kind of temperature sensor. If you want to monitor it, keep an eye on the chassis temperature.

Re: MSM765 SNMP Temperature Monitoring
Hi!
Are you certain about this that the controller does not have any kind of temperature sensor? Is this in a documentation somewhere?
Thanks.

Re: MSM765 SNMP Temperature Monitoring
I think there is no OID for getting realtime Temperature, please check following pdf:
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02703969/c02703969.pdf
It has only one OID related to temperature and i.e. only to provide operating temperature range capability.
Thanks,

Re: MSM765 SNMP Temperature Monitoring
What if the MSM 765 wireless controller is in a HP 5400 ZL switch. Does this switch have a temperature sensor for its modules?
