MSM765 license activation

Hi,

I have an MSM 765 controller and some LAPs in my workshop. I will configure and test the controller & the LAPs in my office. Afterwards the controller and the LAPs will be shipped to another office. The 5400 switch, however, will not be shipped, as the other office has such model of switch.

 

I am quite new to this controller. I understand that I need to activate the controller's license as initial configuration. However, the controller will be plugged to another switch later in the other office. The question is, will there be any issue if I activate the controller license with my switch? Will the license stick to the controller? Appreciate if anybody can give advise. Thanks.
