I have reset my wireless router and now I am trying to establish a new password. I tried to connect my computer directly to the router via Ethernet and then entered http://192.168.1.1 in my web browser. It does not bring me to the management tool. What am I doing wrong?
Help! This seems like it should be very simple.

I have tried that and still cannot connect to the management tool.
Could I be using the wrong type of Ethernet cable to connect my computer to the V-M200? Crossover versus straight thru. Does that matter any more?

That's what I started out writing to suggest, then I decided to look at the manual again (just deployed 10 of these) and the ethernet port is supposed to be giving out IP addresses on that subnet by default, so you should not have had to do that. But, whatever worked.
