Receive email alerts, alarms, events from an HP MSM 760 Wifi Controller & controlled AP's

Hi,
I need to be able to receive alerts/alarms about events on the HP access points and controllers. I cannot find any instructions for configuring email alerts and I am surprised it is proving so difficult. I previously used Ruckus and it was so simple.

Does anyone know how I can setup email alerts/alarms/events about my HP Wifi controller and access points? It would be a huge help.
Is this possible within the settings of the controller or do I need additional HP monitoring software?

Maybe a TrapHost or Syslog host is a better option?

I Believe Kiwi syslogserver has a free tool to get you started.
