Unable to ping other machines on wireless network

Hello,

I am new to the forum and also a novice in networking.

I have a 3Com Office Connect Wireless Cable/DSL Router (3CRWER100-75) with software version 1.3s. The router is setup with firewall on and to act as DHCP.

I have several computers connected to the router, all through wireless, 2 XP Pro and 1 XP Home. None of them can see each other on the network, they can ping the router and localhost but not any other machine on the network. As they can see the router they all  unrestricted access to the internet.

Any help will be greatful. If you need any further information then please let me know. Thank you.

Best regards,

Re: Unable to ping other machines on wireless network

Hello,

Sorry, my fault but I should have checked all the firewalls. I have the machines talking to each other now. Well the two XP Pro machines not tested the XP Home yet though.

Best regards,
