Hello all,

I am looking at setting up a basic guest wireless network. Does HP have configuration examples showing that. We just need something for customers to use when they are onsite, so they can access the internet.

What kind of Guest Access you want ? Portal or PSK ?

How many controllers d you have ?

Guest should have internet access only, no private network access.

Portal would be nice to use, but isn't necessary

We only have 1 controller.

Yes, we have a sample configuration for you. Check out the Implementation guide at http://bizsupport2.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02682324/c02682324.pdf. I believe first or second implementation should fit your needs. The manual contains detailed instructions.

Alternatively if you have FW version 5.7.x, you have Automated workflows for creating employee and guest VSCs.

The link didn't work for me, but I did a search for that .pdf on HP's website and found it. It looks like the Retail implementation should work for us.

We do have v5.7.2, I will look at the configuration guide to see what that is about.
