upgrade MSM = you have to pay ?
Hello
I just to talk to the HP support who said me that if I want to upgrade the firmware of my MSM 760 I have to pay !
I'm really surprised. Anyone can confirm me that please ?
Thanks a lot.

Re: upgrade MSM = you have to pay ?
If you're out of the warranty period (1y I think) then you'll need at carepack to download new firmware, and that costs money.

That is correct, as Fredrik Lönnman wrote.

Re: upgrade MSM = you have to pay ?
This only applies to devices purchased before Aug 1 2013. Devices purchased on or after that date fall under Warranty 2.0, which provides unlimited FW upgrades for the duration of the entitlement. The entitlement period for FW upgrades varies.
Information about Warranty 2.0 is available at http://h17007.www1.hp.com/us/en/networking/support/warranty/index.aspx#.UwONn4X1Svw. The warranty periods are listed in the Warranty Summary.
