BL30p boot from SAN
Is it possible to configure BL30p's to boot from SAN? SAN configuration is an HSG80 ver 8.7F-7 and Brocade 2800 ver 2.6.2c. When the OS (W2K3 Server) is loaded on the local ATA drive, the SAN drives are presented. Attempting to boot from fiber the drives are not available.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: BL30p boot from SAN
Download Smartstart 7.2.0 and update your bios and drivers should do the trick.

Re: BL30p boot from SAN
Stuart, thanks for the reply. After I initially posted this I found out that this is not a qualified or supported configuration. HP is currently working on this issue. In addition, when attempting to update the qlogic firmware, the install procedure detects an HSG80 controller and aborts.
