Block port 513 on MSA SAN Switch

Can someone give me information about how to block port 513 for the MSA SAN Switch 2/8?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

Could you give us the firmware version running on your switch, perhaps the output from a "switchshow" command?

That is a VXworks-based switch with firmware version 3.x

The firmware version is 7.00.B1500.

The problem is that an application is using port 513. This port can't be used according to DISA (Federal Gov. System). For security reasons we need the application to use another port and disable port 513.

Can this be done?

This is the version of the MSA1000 controller module firmware, not that of the MSA 2/8 SAN switch.

If I am understanding you correctly, you have an MSA connected to a SAN 2/8 FC switch and either the MSA or the 2/8 Switch have port 513 open.

513 login TCP - Used by rlogin, trust makes it unsafe

Since that is an older version of firmware on the switch and I'm not an MSA guy I don't believe I will be able to help you very much, but I'm sure we have the necessary expertise lurking in the forum.
