Configuring Syslog on HP P2000
Hello,
Do you know how I can configure syslog on a HP P2000 so that I can forward logs to a syslog server?
Kind Regards

Re: Configuring Syslog on HP P2000
You can refer this link and look for "managed logs",
https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c05252785#N11263
Hope this helps!

Re: Configuring Syslog on HP P2000
I am not sure what you meant by Syslog but in order to receive SNMP alerts generated from MSA you need some Application or Software at the Server end. It can be Insight Remote Support. Please find the link to get configuration details,
You can check the below link as well,
https://serverfault.com/questions/610750/hp-p2000-msa-g3-san-snmp-trap-setup
Hope this helps!

Re: Configuring Syslog on HP P2000
Hello,
The P2000 is an older End of Life array that does not have the feature set which includes syslogs. Newer generations, such as the MSA2040 and MSA2050 do have the ability to use syslogs.
As mentioned previously, the P2000 does have the managed log feature.
Cheers,
Shawn
