Configuring a DL380 with NC380t to boot from iSCSI SAN
I cannot seem to be able to get a dfinitive answer on this question.
My Question:
A HP DL380 G5 with an NC380T, I want to boot from an iSCSI SAN. What do I need to do to configure the NC380T to boot from iSCSI.
There are two Embedded NICs NC373 which I can configure through , F9, System Otions, Embedded NICs , Enable iSCSI boot. No problem .
But I cannot figure out how to configure the NC380T to boot from iSCSI. Is it done through a BIOS setting?? I have spent several hours on the phone to HP support, but I am not getting anywhere.
There must be a step by step guide somewhere to do this, I don't think this is an unusual request?? I would have thought this to be a fairly common task.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Paul G
