EVA HSV 300 Luns are not visible on HP-UX 11.31 VM host.

Hi,

The newly presented LUNS to HP-UX server  from 'HP Storage EVA 4400 ' are not visible on the host.

There is no issue with th eold LUNS.

Could anyone please help?

can you give us a rundown of what you have done so far to get them to show up?

e.g. did you run ioscan && insf commands?

1.On HP EVA, we created the vdisks...these vdisks have been presented to the vmhost1

2.Then in server, did ioscan, insf in the same sequence.
  we also tried insf -e

but none of these things worked - we cannot see the disks.

3.We decided to get some downtime and did a reboot of the vmhost1. After reboot, we still cannot see the disks.

after a couple of days..we did see the disks. I am not sure if it is due to the "save changes" I clicked after unpresenting and presenting the vdisks to a vmhost1 or is it due to some thing else

4.On another vmhost- vmhost2 we dont see the disks after allocating from EVA... we didnt reboot it yet. we did unpresent/present vdisks a couple of times in HP EVA, "save changes" etc but still this second VM host couldn't see the LUNS.

Please let me know if you need any outputs from the server.
