EVA4400 HSV300 Null Driver

We have an EVA4400 iSCSI solution and cannot find the HSVx00 driver which is usually installed as part of the HBA driver... Where can we get this Null driver from?

I'm not sure why you're looking for an HBA driver for an iSCSI solution. The drivers for the iSCSI solution can be found at this URL.

Just pick your operating system and download the kit fot the iSCSI connectivity option.

To clarify the situation. Under Device Manager you will see the HSV300 with a yellow question mark. The resolution was to unpack the HBA driver kit from either the Emulex or Qlogic available on the EVA4400 SmartSetup CD and extract the SACDaa.inf file. Using this to install a "null driver" for the HSV300 worked fine and the unconfigured HSV300 device now had a driver loaded and was happy.

We have the same problem, today I searched the whole EVA4400 Smart Start CD for SCAD (Null Driver), but did not found it.
Any other location available to download these file?

It's called the SACD - Storage Array Controller Device.

Extract the .exe from the .zip and then extract all files from the .exe. Let Windows pick up the correct description file by specifying the folder location.

Hello Uwe, thanks, this helps, but does answers my Question correct.I've searched the SCAD.inf File for HSV300 Controller, but this Version 9.1.7.17 does not support the HSV300 in EVA4400.

Any newer Version available?

Have you tried to let Windows search the files? I don't understand why there are 2 files, but 'SACDaa.inf' contains the string "HSV300".

Yes, there are two differend Feiles in it.
I've let Windows do the work and now it works.

I dragged C:\CPQSYSTEM\pnpdrvs\SACDaa.inf across from another server (mine was missing) and installed that and it worked.
