EVA4400 SNMP
Does anyone know if there is a way to perform SNMP polling against the EVA4400, or any EVA system for that matter? If so, do you just poll the IP used for connecting to the operator control panel, or the IP of your management box where command view is installed?

Re: EVA4400 SNMP
The EVA family of storage arrays does not run SNMP. The EVA sends status and error messages to the Windows Application Event log. Command View monitors the Win App Event log and decodes and display the EVA status and errors. HP recommends installing WEBES along with Command View to provide more detailed and user friendly status and error reports. Also, WEBES can send the message via email.
