EVA4400 and Suse 11 multipath
We are using the HP EVA440 and Suse 11.
According to the HP document (Device mapper multipath enablement kit for HP StorageWorks Disk arrays v4.4.40 release not ),
there are some known issues with Suse 11.
-Multipath may not always activate all partitions on reboot.
• The multipathd daemon may fail to stop immediately after it is started in large SAN configurations.
• The multipathd daemon may consume more memory in large SAN configurations
We would like to confirm if there is any new release to the software, the roadmap to release the new version.
And if there is no software release yet, is there any manual work around to resolve the issues.
Or would should we go for the native Suse multipathd ?
thanks & regards
Andrew.
