Expand VDISK Volume in Windows Failover Cluster

I have a P2000 G3 iSCSI MSA with redundant controllers. I am running out of space and I need to expand. Currently the P2000 contains 6 600GB disks in a single RAID 5 VDISK including a global spare. The VDISK has 2 volumes, one volume is the quorum/witness disk and the balance is used as a Cluster Shared Volume (CSV) containing virtual machines. This is attached to a three node Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter Edition Failover Cluster running on HP DL385 G7 and G8 servers.

Assuming I insert additional HDD into the P2000 and can select EXPAND VOLUME from the TOOLS menu, is the cluster smart enough to recognize what is going on and continue running without incident, or do I need to shut down the cluster and/or take other heroic actions to prevent my virtual machine hard disks from being corrupted?

Thanks,

Vint
