FC Failover problem RHEL 5.6 64bits DL 360G6 QLE2462
Bonjour,
Nous rencontrons un problème de failover Fiber Channel sur toutes redhat 5.x (Tikanga) 64 bits.
Serveur : HP DL 360 G6, Carte FC HP AE312A (<=> QLE2462) .
La carte Fc est connectée via ses 2 ports à 2 fabric S.A.N.
Un disque (sur EVA 6100 2 CTL HSV) est présenté au travers du command view.
Le lun est bien vu 4 fois par la redhat 64 bits.

Le système est opérationnel. Mais quand on teste le failover en débranchant un des ports FC, le système détecte un LOOP DOWN (normal) mais ne bascule pas sur l'autre port FC.
La carte fiber Channel dual port HP AE31A est au dernier niveau de firmware HP :
- version de bios 2.16.
Les différents drivers HP testés sont
- version 8.03.07.03.5.6 RHEL55/56
- hp-fc-enablement-2010-03-31
La Redhat Tikanga est au dernier niveau de mise à jour :
- Linux tux10.ch-stbrieuc.fr 2.6.18-238.12.1.el5 #1 SMP Sat May 7 20:18:50 EDT 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
HPDM multipath est installé : version HPDMmultipath-4.4.1
Ce problème n'est pas présent sur les versions 32bits de Redhat.x
Le problème a été constaté sur les redhat :
- 5.3 64 bits
- 5.4 64 bits
- 5.5 64 bits
- 5.6 64 bits

Please, can you look at Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 677821.
It seems to be the same problem.
I have some difficulties with redhat support.
