FC1142SR attached to StorageWorks 2212fc

I have an HP (QLogic) FC1142SR attached to an HP StorageWorks 2212fc SAN. On the SAN, I have configured two vdisks (1 RAID1, 1 RAID5) and created one volume per vdisk. My issue is that on the HP DL160 running Windows Server 2003 R2 x64, the Windows Disk Management app does not see the volumes. I have done the volume mapping on the SAN side to allow access from the Windows host. Anyone have any ideas? All of the hardware on both the SAN and Windows sides appears to be correct. Wrong driver in Windows, perhaps?

You may have figured this out by now, but do you have the MSA2000 VSS/VDS Hardware Providers installed? See http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/storageworks/vdsvsshard/

Re: FC1142SR attached to StorageWorks 2212fc

I'm also having some difficulty: I have two servers, DL380G4 with a FC1142SR running Windows 2003 (32 bit), and a DL360G5 with a FC1142SR running Windows 2003 R2 x64. Both servers can not see volumes assigned to them on an MSA 2012fc. Other HP DL servers with older 2 GB qlogic HBA's can see volumes on the MSA 2012fc without problem. Seems to be an issue with the FC1142SR card. I tried updating firmware and drivers - no luck. Anyone figure this one out?
