FC1142SR won't run on 4GBit
Hi!
Have a HP DL360 (Windows server 2003 std 32-bit) with a FC1142SR HBA connected to a Brocade BladeSystem 4/12 SAN Switch. It will not run on 4GBit on auto neg. or forced to 4GBit, only works with auto on HBA and auto or 2GBit forced on the switch port. Any ideas?
Best regards,
Thomas

Re: FC1142SR won't run on 4GBit
On you Brocade switch enter a telnet session with admin rights.
sfpshow
just check that your sfps are 4G compatible.
another way would be to issue the portcfgspeed 4 command usually if it isn't a 4G sfp mod_inv will be displayed.
