Firmware update / recovery through serial link

I use an MSA2000sa with a dual controller configuration. The firmware in controller A got corrupted and controller B cannot recover it (using partner update).

The controller firmware is boot-cycling all the time and I succeeded in entering the boot monitor menu using the serial interface.

The menu has an option to upgrade the primary and/or secondary loader firmware over XMODEM oder Kermit. I tried to upload the J300P20-Firmware using XMODEM, but it did not work.

Is there a particular way to prepare the firmware for upload? or any special version I should use?
